Server administrator

Server administrators, or simply admins, are the ones who enforce the rules on any given server. Admins have special powers inside the server that include kicking players, forcing the map to change, and many other similar actions. By default, there are two levels of admins: regular admins and super admins. When in game, you can view a player's admin status from the lobby screen. On the player list, regular admins will have an A next to their name, and super admins will have SA next to their name. Super admins have all the powers of a regular admin as well as a few extra and more significant ones. The admin status of players can be specified by the server host - or anyone with access to the server files - in two ways: admin lists and admin passwords. The admin lists contain all of the admins' GUIDs, and whenever one of them joins the server, they are automatically recognized as admins. Additionally, passwords can be specified, and whenever anyone enters the admin or super admin password with the console command sad("password");, they are awarded admin or super admin status respectively.

Many mods have been released that enhance the abilities of server admins, as well as allow further configuration of their abilities. Some such mods are Evolution Admin Mod and TriCon 2.
