Bounty

Bounty is a new game type that was included with Tribes 2. In this game type, every player is assigned a random target and their goal is to kill that target. Once a player has eliminated a target, they get a new target, and so on until they have eliminated every other player in the game at least once. However, nobody will know who is after them until they get hit... or if they suspect someone near them. This makes Bounty the most cutthroat game type in the game.

When playing Bounty, it is important not to kill indiscriminately. You must only attack your target and anyone who you believe is after you. Killing anyone else gives you a penalty against your score and adds a random player back onto your list. Unfortunately, it's not always clear if a player is being an ass or if you're really their target. The best thing to do is run away. The only way to know for sure is to be hit by them. If someone is really your enemy, their green IFF arrow will disappear after they hit you.

Suicide is highly discouraged in Bounty. If you kill yourself, anyone who had you as a target will automatically be considered to have eliminated you.
