Plasma rifle

The plasma rifle, often shortened to plasma or plas, fires moderately powerful, slow-moving balls of fire (not literally) in a straight line. It does just enough damage to kill a light armor in two direct hits, and deals some splash damage in a small radius. While the slow projectile causes many players to avoid using it in outdoor combat, the fast firing rate makes it one of the best weapons in the game for destroying base assets - second only to the mortar and missile launcher on outside targets. For indoor combat, the plasma is still quite useful, especially when fighting against a slow-moving player wearing medium armor or heavy armor.
